GREG Kjos KJOS

For the past 40 years, I have worked in television production in Minneapolis. For 20 of those years, I directed newscasts for local FOX, CBS, and NBC affiliates before transitioning into sports television as a freelance contractor. My work has included producing virtual graphics for NFL broadcasts, including the First-and-Ten yellow line, as well as MLB and NHL telecasts. I also work as an assistant director and stage manager for professional sporting events.

My lovely wife is an electronics engineer from the Philippines who works for Delta Air Lines. We frequently travel to her home country to visit family and take advantage of opportunities to explore destinations throughout the United States and around the world.

As the years have gone by, I have come to appreciate more and more the public school education I received through the Wauwatosa School District. It began with the foundation I received at Wilson Elementary School, followed by Hawthorne Junior High School and Tosa East.

I have many great memories of participating in all aspects of the music program and working with the talented directors who helped shape my education and foster my lifelong appreciation of music.

As a television director, my ability to count backward and manage time is second to none. Hahaha!
