I sit here incredulously speechless with the news of Carol's passing....just as I did a week ago when I learned the tragic news of the heart attack she suffered.

• Incredulous that we lost a classmate who embodied the spirit of our graduating class
• incredulous that we lost a classmate who after high school continued to be a wonderful example of healthy and fit
• Incredulous that she appeared to do everything the medical community says should be done to prevent the event that took life from her
• And just thinking how unfair her passing is to so many she shared her life with.

Her family has lost a wonderful wife and mother....the community has lost a role model that will no doubt, not find a replacement.

Carol, her family and all whose lives she impacted remain in my thoughts a prayers as I struggle to understand why the Good Lord chose to take her from this world.
