Residing In: Milwaukee, WI USA
Occupation: Social Worker
Military Service: US Army Aviation

I recently earned a Master's Degree in Social Work. This came about as a result of watching the world deteriorate and feeling powerless to change it. I've worked with Iraq/Afghanistan combat Veterans, Hospice patients, HIV/Aids clients, and those seeking employment after incarceration. Social Work is a good fit for me and allows me to be a participant in the social change which is sorely overdue. Helping people-what a radical concept!

After High School, I tried college, quit, and joined the US Army. I had hard duty as a helicopter crewchief near Monterey, California. I never saw snow for three years! I returned to Milwaukee, and finished college, and was fortunate to have spent a semester at the University of Nottingham in England.

After college, I decided to go full-time at United Parcel Service and was a route driver for half a dozen years or so. As an aside, I was hired part-time at UPS during my senior year at Tosa East. As a high school senior, I was making $7.35/hr! That's how I was able to go to school in England and race Italian bicycles...

I've never married, but have moved across the country (and back) for love.

I've picked up a couple (two) tattoos along the way, one for social struggle, and the other for motorcycle (!) racing.

I've been teargassed by the best (worst) politicians...seen friends deported...walked many a picket line...and walked BOTH sides of the street during War protests...and organized a winter motorcycle rally which has drawn over 100 riders and is entering its twelfth year.

I live on the Near South Side, on one of my old UPS routes, and am slowly learning Spanish via my wonderful neighbors and from watching Mexican futbol (soccer) play on Telemundo. Just mentioning Chivas, Pumas, or Aguileres goes a long way towards breaking down the language barrier!

I periodically run into Brian Sevedge ('80?) on the East Side. He's an incredibly kind person. Other than him, I've not stayed in touch with other East alumns....

School Story:

I bore the brunt of adolescent cruelty during my school years, I am sad to say, but I recall the commons area with the pool table, video games, and jukebox. I think most schools did away with that years ago......It was there that we listened to VanHalen (I), and watched the Space Shuttle fly.....
